The building was built around 1860 when Grosvenor Crescent was formed. The refurbishment
involved the retention of many historic features and incorporating modern office requirements
into the historic fabric was a complex and intricate process. The extensive internal work had
also to be phased carefully so that existing ocupants could be accomodated and disruption
kept to a minimum.
